Debate Recording is Ready!

Many of you have asked about the availability of a way to watch a recording of the debate. Thanks to the generosity of Traverse City realtor Jason Gillman, a recording is now available! We are so grateful to him for taking the time to record our debate, and for sharing this recording with us freely so that anyone interested can watch it. You can watch it at https://rumble.com/v16tbqh-republican-gubernatorial-candidate-debate-may-28th-2022-park-place-hotel.html

Rob Hentschel is joining us as timekeeper

Grand Traverse County Commission Chair Rob Hentschel has graciously agreed to be our timekeeper for this event. He was elected in 2018 and has served as Grand Traverse County’s Chief Elected Official since 2019. In addition to serving as County Commission chair, Hentschel also has served on the board of Northern Lakes Community Mental Health, as secretary of the Traverse City Rotary Club, and has served as vice-chair to the Cherry Capital Airport, where he currently serves as board secretary. Hentschel, along with his family, runs Roy’s General Store in East Bay Township. We are grateful to him for lending his time and talent to this event!

Patrick Colbeck is coming!

Patrick Colbeck, a former State Senator, 2018 Gubernatorial Candidate, and a whistleblower for the TCF Center regarding the November 2020 election, will be in attendance at the debate. He also provides information to the public about current issues on his web site www.letsfixstuff.org. He will be selling and signing copies of his latest book, “The 2020 Coup.” Come see the candidates debate, and then meet Patrick Colbeck!

Event Master of Ceremonies Selected

Master Of Ceremonies for the debate will be Heather Cerone, Traverse City resident and committed conservative activist. Heather’s long list of accomplishments include being a Pharmaceutical Representative, a field director for the national organization Americans For Prosperity, and a Campaign Event Coordinator. She is the co-founder of The Constitution Celebration created in 2011 as an annual community event designed to educate and inform the understanding of the document that is the law of our land. She is also the founder of the grassroots organization Citizens Liberating Michigan, one of the sponsoring groups of the debate and ball. Most proudly, Heather is a dedicated mother, and has recently announced her candidacy as a Republican for the 103rd Michigan State House of Representative seat. We are pleased to have Heather aboard for this great event.

Local Personality agrees to Moderate Debate

This is an exciting day! We have received confirmation that Eric Lloyd, of 9 and 10 News, will be a moderator in the debate for us!
